Legal & Background Review

Answer accurately. Legal history is reviewed only as permitted by law and as relevant to safety, placement, employment readiness, and house requirements.

Are you currently on parole? *

Northstar's current admissions criteria do not accept applicants who are currently on parole. Staff will confirm eligibility during review.

Are you currently on probation? *

Probation is reviewed case by case. Details, compliance, restrictions, and current standing matter.

Do you have any pending criminal charges or active warrants? *
Do you expect a criminal/background check to create a significant barrier to obtaining ordinary employment? *
Are you currently involved in any illegal activity, drug trafficking, violence, or conduct that could place a recovery household at risk? *
Do you have a history of selling or trafficking illegal drugs, or similar conduct that could materially affect household safety, trust, or employment stability? *
Can you comply with all court, probation, treatment, and house obligations at the same time? *

30-Day Scholarship

The scholarship provides the first 30 days of Northstar Recovery Living rent-free for approved applicants.
